Purpose

Hive Thinking is a place to connect with others around the globe. The internet should help us to hear new voices, connect with new people, and learn about how people live in parts of the world different from our own. But sometimes; it doesn't. Instead, sometimes we end up taking to more people who are just like us. The mission of Hive Thinking is to try to correct that. Hive Thinking is meant to bring people together from across the world, serving as a recommendation engine based on age, interests and geography.

How This Site Came to Life

Hive Thinking grew from an interest that Clarence Fisher had in helping people to see the world in new ways. A teacher, writer and public speaker, Clarence developed the idea for the Hive Thinking site in the summer of 2011. In a series of blog posts, the idea was further refined.
